​Through studying the demographics as well as visiting the site, the rich culture and diversity of racial makeup of The Run is situated on the outskirts of the town. In addition to being fair from the center of the town, The blocks are fairly racially separated. The syncopation drawing diagrams the racial makeup of the city as well as shows the proposal for a poetry library and writers’ residency. In proposing this cultural space, the project aims to engage the community and re-centralize the existing identities toward the center of the town.
